Substance testing is important, but it can also be intrusive and inconvenient.
With DynamiCare, you'll receive notifications on your phone asking you to perform random substance tests without having to travel to a facility. Membership includes the easy-to-use breathalyzer which tests for alcohol use, and saliva test cups which check for drug use.
The tests are done on your smartphone, submitted on the app with selfie videos.

Recovery coaching
SUPPORT IS ALWAYS CLOSE BY
You'll be individually-matched with a telehealth recovery coach who serves as a mentor and provides direction to often-needed resources. To start, you'll meet with your coach for 1-hour per week sessions to set personalized and achievable goals.
Of course, you can text or call anytime for the support and help as needed.

Our job is to help you stay motivated to make healthy choices and build trust in your relationships. Aetna places funds into a reserve account that earned onto a smart debit card.

Education and Curriculum

You'll have convenient access to an online curriculum that’s always available and easy to review. Developed by our clinical partners, the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modules place an emphasis on goal setting, coping with triggers, managing stress, healthy communication, relationship building, empowerment, gratitude, and goal setting.
The modules are short and easy to complete, even on a smartphone.

Founded in 2016, DynamiCare is a digital care program delivered through a smartphone app. We connect you with a personal Recovery Coach and reward healthy behavior with immediate financial incentives that retrain your brain on a subconscious level.
How the study works
Like flipping a coin, participants are assigned to one of two groups.
Participants are randomly assigned
Half of the participants will be assigned to the Telehealth Program Group, where there is a chance to receive up to $1,310 over 12 months.
Control Group
Half of the participants will be assigned to the Control Group, where there is a chance to receive up to $845 for completing research assessments over 12 months.

- Live in the United States
- Are at least 18 years old
- Own a smartphone
- Can read and speak English
- Are taking or willing to take prescribed FDA-approved medication for Opioid Use Disorder (examples include: buprenorphine, Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade, methadone, Vivitrol, etc.)

DynamiCare Health Inc. is conducting this study in partnership with Western Michigan University and the Research Triangle Institute.
